Jurgen Mayer H. has designed what might be a one of a kind awning framework situated among Roman ruins in the Plaza de la Encarnacion in Seville, Spain.

The construction of six parasols made out of wood hovers above an outdoor market forming a roof for a building without walls.

Beneath the wooden canopy are market stalls which sell vegetables, meat and cooked food. There’s space for outdoor performances as well.

The unusual form brings to mind the “Bird’s Nest” stadium built for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
